At the foot of the majestic Sella Group, Hotel Recort was born from the pioneering legacy of Gottfried Declara, a key figure in the development of tourism in Alta Badia. His innovative vision inspired the brand strategy, which aims to position the hotel as an exclusive brand aimed at a mature and sophisticated audience in search of authenticity and refinement. The brand strategy of Hotel Recort combines tradition and innovation. The name "Recort", chosen by copywriter Francesco Ricci, means "memory" in Ladin and symbolises the dialogue between the past and the future.

Hotel Recort's new logo is a harmonious synthesis of lifestyle and tradition, combining timeless elegance with a touch of modernity. The monogram, a refined reinterpretation of the letter "R", expresses the hotel's exclusive essence and symbolises its commitment to preserving unforgettable memories. The visual identity is based on the historic colours chosen by Gottfried Declara for his first business. Meanwhile, the pattern, inspired by the tracks of snow groomers on the slopes and the technical plans of the buildings, introduces a dynamic and contemporary element that pays tribute to the family's entrepreneurial activities and integrates them with the brand's vision. To complete the visual identity, the illustrations pay homage to the art of Siegward Sprotte, a German artist who often visited Colfosco. His works, dedicated to iconic places such as Val Mezdí and the Sella Group, intertwine with the brand's design, capturing the authenticity and unique charm of the area.

Hotel Recort's communication is characterised by consistency and attention to detail, ensuring that guests have an immersive and harmonious experience at every touchpoint. Beyond the digital, the visual identity permeates every corner of the property. The hotel's iconography, inspired by the illustrations of Siegward Sprotte, is handcrafted in inlaid iron, creating a tangible link between aesthetics and tradition. Every element, from the key card holder to the SPA menu, from the welcome card to the farewell note, as well as the personalisation of the car fleet and the cable car, has been designed to strengthen the unique identity of Hotel Recort. This integrated communication strategy ensures that every interaction with the brand, whether physical or digital, contributes to a 360-degree, consistent and memorable experience for each guest.
